About two weeks ago Anya had Rachel cut her hair. Rachel cut a bunch of Anya's hair off of one side to just below Anya's ear. When I found Anya with obviously cut hair, I accused Anya of cutting her own hair. Anya said that she didn't cut her hair, that Rachel did. I didn't believe her, and John didn't believe her. John put Anya in time out for lying. But he want to Rachel to see if he could figure out the whole story. Rachel said that Anya brought her scissors and asked her to give her a hair cut. I am not sure whose fault this is: Anya's for telling another little kid to cut her hair, or Rachel's for actually doing it. But it was done. At first I tried parting Anya's hair in the middle and putting two high pony tails in her hair everyday. This did hide the problem well, but after a week and a half, I felt like it was too much effort and Anya was pretty tired of having her hair pulled back everyday, so I cut the rest of her hair. It looks okay. John even thinks it looks pretty cute. I am still going to try to get Rachel and Anya to have long hair like Ruth and Kate. But my two little girls seem to really like haircuts!

I like Anya with shorter hair. It looks really good. She's cute.
What is it with kids and scissors? Her hair looks REALLY cute short!
Also wanted to say I love the utah moms post. I hear and see some crazy things ( I do not live in utah). I yell, i get irritated, but I am a great mom. I do a terrible job with my hair, I don't know how i would like utah.
Also, I literally laughed out loud with the "today at church" post! So funny! And that is dialog similar to our family's at times! HAHA!!
Love the haircut... Anya is so tiny that the short hair becomes her and she is just the cutest little 3 year old ....love the new due.
@Susan: me too. I'm really bad at my hair, and I get upset a lot over the dumbest thing. But then I take a step back and a deep breath and say "I'm human not divine...yet" and try to fix the problem.
