Bountiful Baskets is a food co-op in several states throughout the U.S.. Every Monday, I go online and sign up for a basket and sometimes some other items they have. It is $15 for the basket and you get a variety of fruits and vegetables. Most of the time, the food is good quality. This past week I spent $50 and got 16 pounds of strawberries, and some other tropical fruits, plus the regular basket. This has been the best for our family. It is such an inexpensive way to get a variety of produce.
My mom bought us a Blendtec blender which we have been using for making awesome smoothies, milk shakes, hot cocoa and soup. Between the blender and Bountiful Baskets, we are eating a lot healthier!!!

I Love my Blentec... Seth worked there and could get them at half price... and he and my mom pitched in for my birthday... so I only spent about $50 to get it... not too shabby.

I've heard those blenders are really nice! Don't you love Bountiful baskets? It looks like you got nearly all the same things we did. We didn't get any apples this week but we got corn on the cob. And strawberries don't come up here but I've heard mom has gotten them several times. We had the chayote squash for dinner last night. Pretty good although the sap beneath the peel does do weird things to your skin.
