Pre-teen Girls
Ruth and Kate have had friends over a lot lately. Especially, this one neighbor, Hannah. I would have to say that it is a bit crazy. Yesterday, they kept saying mean things to each other and making each other cry or run home. 10 minutes later they would be begging to play together again and acting like they are best friends and that nothing ever happened. My question is: How do you deal with this, and were my friends and I like this too???????????

in other words, remember when casidy and i were friends and then not friends etc during these same ages? i dont think we went home crying, but we did go back and forth a bit. and look at us now! haha. still best of friends.
not that i know anything about this, and you already know this, but i would think you just have to teach your kids to be nice and not take it seriously or personally when someone says mean things to you. haha. like a pre teen does that. i think it would come down to, if you cant play nice then you cant play anymore. period. haha. obviuosly i dont know anything about this. you know more than i do.
Oh girls, they are so sweet and cute but it definetly comes at a price.
maybe it should be called pre-hormonal instead of pre-teen! Yes, Deedee you and your sister Lila were like this with your friends...what was amazing, however, you would have those tiffs..but in the end would always stand up for each other...sometimes you would not like each others friends but in the end sisters reigned!
