This week we had interviews but they told us to come early. And so we ended up eating the leftovers from three weeks meeting. Interviews was good and I will be going home March 3 :) haha! I have an extra like two weeks!
On Monday we played a game of Football with Elouise's grandsons with the bet that if we beat them they would come to church. So we went with Shawayne (12 years old), Zidan(10), and their sisters Shay(20) and Courtney(15) to the football field near their house and the first game we had Courtney on our team and beat the boys. They decided that we beat them because we had read our scriptures. So we played against them again. All four of them against us and we beat them 6-0. After the game we asked them what they learned and they said to read their scriptures! Then when we got back to the flat Zidan said "Grandma! I need my bible back!" The next time we saw them they were studying the scriptures.
We met an awesome lady named Grace after I fell down the stairs of a double decker bus. She was walking the same way we were so we helped carry her bags and she invited us to come by. She has been to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints twice in Ghana. On Sunday we visited and she gave us Ghanean beans which tastes like Jambalaya and we gave her banana bread and a Book of Mormon.
We taught Anny's kids David and Goliath with marshmallows. It was a lot of fun but went very quickly!
Well this week for the scripture I want to send Mosiah 3:19 "For the natural man is an enemy to God, and has been from the fall of Adam, and will be, forever and ever, unless he yields to the enticings of the Holy Spirit, and putteth off the natural man and becometh a saint through the atonement of Christ the Lord, and becometh as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love, willing to submit to all things which the Lord seeth fit to inflict upon him, even as a child doth submit to his father."
We have to learn to overcome the world and give our lives to God, and submit ourselves in all things unto him that is the way we will enter into Heaven.

I do love Ruth’s scriptures and they always bring a currant thought to me when I read them. I love the contacts she is having. I liked the story with the children. I can tellshe is a hard working and dedicated missionary. Hugs for Ruth!
