Happy Mother's Day from Ruth and Kate

For Mother's Day Ruth and Kate wrote a parody to "Let it Go" for the Zombie Apocalypse I love it!!! I have some pretty cool kids.

Undead Know

wind blows loud through the empty streets
not a human to be seen
the city of the undead

Where the zombies run free
the wind is howling like my dead heart inside
couldn’t keep its beat though I breathed and tried

lock, load, and run away
don’t let them get to you today
conceal, don’t scream, don’t even breathe
and then I screamed

undead know, oh no!
not human any more
undead know, oh no!
run away and lock the door

I don’t care
what they’re going to say
let the war rage on
I’m already dead anyway

funny how one bite
makes my life seem gone
and the thirst for blood controls me
although I know it’s wrong

It’s time to see what I can do
to attack and then eat you
no breathe, no blood, no life in me
Zombie!

undead know, oh no!
I’m dead yet still alive
undead know, oh no!
and now you’re going to die

the dead stand
yet dead they stay
let the war rage on

our power grows as we come from the ground
I am rising like the walking dead all around
and though the guns shoot super fast
no longer human
that hit was not my last

undead know, oh no!
I’ll rise, though my life wasn’t long
undead know, oh no!
that human girl is gone

here I stand
eating a man
let the war rage on
I’m already dead any way

And just to keep track of how clever this is, here are the original lyrics.

Let it Go

The snow glows white on the mountain tonight
Not a footprint to be seen
A kingdom of isolation,
And it looks like I’m the queen.

The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside
Couldn’t keep it in, heaven knows I tried

Don’t let them in, don’t let them see
Be the good girl you always have to be
Conceal, don’t feel, don’t let them know
Well, now they know

Let it go, let it go
Can’t hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn away and slam the door

I don’t care
What they’re going to say
Let the storm rage on,
The cold never bothered me anyway

It’s funny how some distance
Makes everything seem small
And the fears that once controlled me
Can’t get to me at all

It’s time to see what I can do
To test the limits and break through
No right, no wrong, no rules for me
I’m free

Let it go, let it go
I am one with the wind and sky
Let it go, let it go
You’ll never see me cry

Here I stand
And here I'll stay
Let the storm rage on

My power flurries through the air into the ground
My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around
And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast
I’m never going back,
The past is in the past

Let it go, let it go
And I'll rise like the break of dawn
Let it go, let it go
That perfect girl is gone

Here I stand
In the light of day
Let the storm rage on,
The cold never bothered me anyway

Wow, the words were creative. Diffidently one to use on Halloween.
Wishing you a marvelous Mother's Day. I hope you get a nap.
Blessings, love and hugs!
