Things I'm Nervous About Today

  1. We have to move in 10 days.
  2. My drivers licence expires on Wednesday and I do not have a forwarding address. I can't use this address because it takes the state 6 weeks to mail your licence to you.
  3. I think I am going to have to take our cats to a shelter. It will devastate our children. I feel devastated at the idea.
  4. John still does not have another job, but he keeps having prospects which is actually postponing us from making any final decisions about moving anywhere including to anyplace here.
  5. Our car needs some repairs but we only have one car and car repair places like to keep it for a week to do a one day repair job. I am not sure how we are going to work this out.
  6. Hotels are really expensive. Homeless shelters are terrifying.
  7. I am having a really hard time seeing into a future where things come together in time for us.

I just wanted to say that I enjoy reading your blog each week. I admire you strength and faith through tough times. There is not much I can offer in the way of support other than the knowledge that you will have a continued place in my prayers.

Do you want to borrow Jer's car while your van is getting fixed? And like always, you're always welcome to stay here while life is in limbo. We're better than any homeless shelters...

I can't imagine! I have been feeling so stressed for you and couldn't believe how wonderful you were handling it--I couldn't see that much anxiety from your blog. But I thought it would be more like you described here. I keep checking back each week to see what's happened and wondering how in the world you were handling it with 10 children. You are such an inspiration to me and I've never even met you. Keep it up!
Oh, and I am happy for you that your house sold so quickly. We had ours on the market for 2 years and I hated it. Never even got one offer. So I'm always a bit envious of those whose houses sell quickly. But obviously it wasn't the right time for us. Now that we're looking to move again I'm hoping this time it will sell quickly. But I'm happy for you and am praying about this extremely stressful time for you right now. I really can't imagine what you're going through. Nobody with 10 kids should have to wonder where they're living next week. You are a rock! Keep it up! Your kids will see your strength and faith and remember it all their lives.

I do believe you will be blessed and things will come together for you all. I know that you know that "Faith Precedes the Miracle". Our family was in a similar position many years ago and it was so hard but when I look back I see the growth our family had; it was worth it all.
Prayers, blessings and hugs for you all!
