I went to the doctor and have pneumonia. I was hoping to take the antibiotic and wake up feeling good. It didn't happen. From what I hear from other people, it may be a long road to recovery. I hope not, but it was certainly not a "You will feel better after 12 hours" antibiotic experience.
Ruth will not being going to the dance, but the boy she asked (who will not be 16 on time) gave her 2 big sugar cookies and apologized very sweetly.

You will be in my prayers. I have had pneumonia twice in the last few years. Just follow the Dr's instructions. You will need lots of rest, and drink lots of fluids.
I hope you recover quickly; but it may take a while.
