Thanksgiving 2012

You can tell the kids set the table. :)

Thanksgiving was fairly simple this year. We did it at our own house with my sister Amy, my brother Seth, and his wife Marie. I made a small 10 pound turkey with simple sides of mashed squash, stuffing and gravy, emerald jello salad, melon fruit salad, black olives, and orange rolls. Seth and Marie brought mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and one pumpkin pie. We bought stuff for ice cream sundays because our kids are not thankful for pie, and I am thankful for less work. The dinner was easy to make and fairly inexpensive. We enjoyed our company. All around, I would have to say that we are all thankful for a simple and fun Thanksgiving.
