January is the biggest month for birthdays in our family. January 1st was when Christopher was born dead. January 9th is Anya's birthday, January 17th is Joshua's birthday, and January 18th is Gideon's birthday. We have now passed the birthdays of all 4 of our January babies, and we won't have another birthday for two more months. That is a second longest birthday gap. The longest gap is between Rachel's birthday the first of April and Susan's birthday mid June.
Anya is 14 now. How did that go so fast??? For a short moment, I thought Anya might be our youngest, but then we got pregnant with Joseph and kept going. Anya is still quiet except when she is playing computer games. She's a really good artist and generally smart with academics. Anya's in a bit of a teenage girl weepy stage, but it's only bad enough to laugh at the silly things that bring her tears. She loves ice cream, baby Eliza, and hanging out with her 3 older sisters.
Joshua is 11 now. He loves to build with legos, draw, wrestle his brothers, and play computer games. Josh is interested in animals and insects and fish. He has been studying them all year and he really loves learning about them.
Gideon is 3! He loves super heroes a lot!! Batman and Spiderman are his favorites. Gideon is an intense character. He knows what he wants and will work to get it. He loves me with a fierceness. I adore having him snuggle with me and say sorry when he has done something that he shouldn't. Gideon is a fun kid to watch.
