This is what I heard from my older kids a few nights back.
Ruth says to Johnny, "I am telling. You are in trouble. When mom hears this you are going to be grounded from the computer for a month!" Ruth turns and says to Kate, "Johnny said that girls aren't smart!! I am telling Mom."
Kate said,"Oh he will be in trouble. Mom is a GIRL!!"
Ruth said, "No, mom is a woman."
Kate responded, "Well a woman is a kind of a girl, so Johnny said that Mom is not smart."
I never got told this personally, but I was there listening and it was fun.

to funny...the girls sure have insight...and Johnny has no problem standing his ground with his sisters....a learnt attribute that should come in handy throughout his life
