All the Good News

1. Gramma and Grampa Pardon visited us this whole past week.
2. Johnny was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints Saturday, October 10, 2009. We had a lot of family come to see him get baptized and it was wonderful.
3. Baby Joseph was blessed on the Sunday following Johnny's baptism, and we had a great big dinner with both sides of our family at Gramma Robertson's house in Provo. All of the kids had a wonderful time in the yard. We had a ton of food with a ton of left over food. We all got along great. I think everyone was comfortable and happy. We had a lot of fun together.

Funny Exchange

I overheard this conversation between Anya and Rachel:

Rachel: Anya don't do that.
Anya: uh, uh, uhhhhh
Rachel:I don't want that!! It is disgusting!! It has boogers on it!!
Anya: Hahahaha
I looked back and saw that Anya was trying to force Rachel to take a spit-up cloth that Joseph had used previously. So yes, it was disgusting. But it did not have boogers.

Ruth was at home and we were in the car on the phone with her trying to get Ruth to look up at address for a place we were going. When she finally got to the right website and part of the website she read the address as follows "...Union Park Doctor."

Happy Birthday John!!!!

John is 38 today!!!!  I have to say Happy Birthday my dear husband. Since he is so wonderful I am going to cut this short and list just the top ten things I love about John.

10. John is fatter than me.
9. Because of John I will never have to help my kids with their math homework.
8. All of the good and important traits on the my young woman's list of things I want in a husband John has.
7.John is really good at making up puns and funny lyrics to songs just out of the blue.
6. John makes me a laugh either because he said something funny or because he got all flustered trying to make up his mind about something unimportant.
5.John works really hard to support our family.
4.John brings me chocolate and flowers a lot.
3.John spends a lot of time playing with all of his 7 children every day, and he really cares how they are doing and he wants to help them succeed.
2.John honors his Priesthood, prays and reads his scriptures daily, and perseveres through family home evenings with 7 kids who do not want to sit.
1.John loves me and stands by me no matter how emotional or stupid I am. Okay a little longer the other # 1 is I love that John tries to understand all of the scriptures.

Back to the Temple

We took our 7 kids out to Temple square. Here we are at the Salt Lake Temple where John and I were married 12 1/2 years ago. Isn't wonderful that families can be forever.
