My kids have been getting after me, wait I take that back, Joseph has been getting after me for putting up too many pictures and not enough words on my blog, so I am capitulating and taking the time to write.
Ruth’s bunnies are reproducing and while bunny sales have not been the best, I feel pretty good about it and we have enjoyed the bunnies. Ruth just finished illustrating my very first chapter book for elementary school. Now she is back to working on illustrations for her pigeon book that she started two or three years ago before I requested a couple of projects. I think Ruth is doing pretty well. She is Eliza’s second mom and sometimes I think she likes it and other times I think she would like to escape it.
Kate is finishing up on her Joseph Smith papers project that she has been working on for 5 years and I am really excited about it because she will be printing a book with all of the full Joseph Smith discourses, plus notes from every journal entry of notes from each discourse and all in order of time. There is nothing like this out there and I am so excited to have it. Thank you Kate. This is a project for the family. I don’t know if she will allow other people to purchase it for the cost of print. I do know that she will not sell it to make money.
Johnny is working on his Indy game and because of John joining different chats online and online games with other people. I want him to meet a girl and get married, but he does need an income first.
Adam was supposed to be graduated, but he did not finish his senior year so he is on senior year number two and hopefully working on some things to get making money so that he too can marry and have his own family.
Rachel is a senior in high school and prays everyday that she will be able to leave home and marry a good man. I hope she gets this prayer answered. But she still needs to learn to work hard and set her mind to something and accomplish it.
Anya is a sophomore and recently turned 16. She is still the sweetest and still very innocent. Anya does really well with her school work. She understands everything except chemistry. She definitely struggles with chemistry.
Joseph is sarcastic, which is funny. He is also very argumentative, which can be funny or annoying depending on how far he goes to make his point. Joseph recently solved the Rubi’s cube all on his own with no YouTube videos and now he can do it really fast as if it is second nature. Joseph is really good at math and our brain for chemistry that Joseph, Anya, and Rachel are all taking together. You have to push Joseph to do things, but he does them really well once you get him to the point that he is willing and going.
Joshua is 13 in age but not mentality. He struggles with school, but he does his work and does not argue and he does try. Josh is really good at art too, so that is nice for him. I have been impressed with how sweet he is recently.
Arwen is 11.5 and doing well. She likes to meet up with her friends. She likes to jingle on the piano a lot and she likes to play computer games with her brothers. She is smart and learns things fairly easily. She is also a great girl to have on hand for help with the younger kids and the house.
Susan is 9.5 and still struggling to read fluently, though she is doing better. But Susan was also the first to get close to solving the rubix cube, although, she hasn’t yet. She was ahead of Joseph for a while. Susan also loves stories and to be read to. I have hopes that in time her mind will heal and she will be a smart young lady. Susan is also one of our more social kids and loves hanging out with her friends.
Sam is 7 and reading very well. I am still plugging him through on my curriculum, though, because it teaches him everything he needs to sound out words and sometimes he does need to do that. Sam loves video games and will do Almost anything for them, which is convenient at times and terrible at others. I do have to get him to do other things and limit his screen time to keep him normal and happy.
Eliza is 2.5 and still breast feeding, but she speaks in full sentences and is very opinionated about everything. We all enjoy her. She is fun to have around to make us a bakers dozen. Eliza loves animals. All animals. But she is still too young and too rough so it is challenging to allow her to love animals while keeping the animals safe.

I love the updates about each child! You skipped Gideon! How's he doing?
Funny because I just did an update on each of my kids in a family newsletter and I skipped one. Love the pictures and love your family!
