Joseph Caleb came really fast on Monday. The doctor started the pitosin at 11am and he was born at 1:12pm. That seemed really fast for even me. But I will take a nice fast labor over what I hear other people have to go through any day. I don't think I even had that many contractions this time around. My contractions were coming every three minutes until they broke my water and then I think I only had about 10 more contractions before it was time to push. So I would have to say that it wasn't so bad. I am also really glad that he is very healthy and so am I. I just didn't expect things to go so smoothly when I am 33 and have already had so many babies.
Joseph was my biggest baby weighing in at 8lbs 5ozs and 20 inches long. He looks a lot like me, Rachel, and Johnny. He is really calm. The other kids are constantly holding him and poking at him and he doesn't seem to mind at all. He is also a really good eater, and so far seems to only poop once or twice a day. Of course, since he is only 2 days old, all that can change. But right now, I feel real lucky to have such a sweet, easy going baby boy.

Joseph is really cute. He definately has yours and Mom's nose. Its a good thing that he is so calm, afterall being number 7 cannot be easy.
I really like the name Caleb, and Ben likes Joseph. Are we allowed to call him Joe or Joey?

Great job Mom! Perfect new baby from Heavenly Father!
What a beautiful boy! Thank you for posting pictures. He sounds like a sweetheart!
That's the same size Sammy was... but they are definitely different sizes now! When I held Joseph he felt so tiny and fragile!
Joseph is such a sweetie! And I really do think he looks like JOseph Smith. I love how manly he is. Especially his big hands. I am so glad you guys are out here and I hope you get a house soon!
Wow, he's beautiful. Good job. Congratulations!
