Johnny is 21! And he is still one of the most upright and virtuous people I have ever known. I knew when I was pregnant that I did not deserve him and I know that even more now. I hope that this year Johnny will get opportunities for joy in this life that he has not had before. He is a very deserving young man.
We have not been back to the beach in over a month. We went on a warm day and stayed beyond sunset, which wasn't as pretty as other times. The waves were tall and fierce. At one point, Rachel was thrown down and her head was smashed onto Kate's foot. Rachel was fine, but Kate broke two toes and her foot and it still healing a month and a half later. I would like to get one more beach trip in before it gets too cold. That may be next week as a big storm is coming tonight. But anyway, the pictures are beautiful and we all still LOVE the beach and the beautiful place that we live in.
