This year, despite two bathroom trips, was the best Family Home Evening Trip to Temple Square yet. With coats, hats, and gloves, we were comfortable outside for a couple of hours. That made it so much easier for the kids to enjoy the Christmas lights and the great Nativities. Everything was beautiful and comfortable, and everyone behaved.

You're so lucky to live close enough to Temple Square to go see the Christmas lights there! I've only been in Utah at Christmastime once and the lights there were gorgeous! I know my girls would be way enchanted with all the lights. =)
I think going to Temple Square to see the lights and etc. is one of the sweetest of FHE activities. I find it all so amazing and beautiful. I am happy your sweet family could bask in this beautiful moment.

I wish so much I could take my kids there to experience it. I took it so much for granted growing up there and now I really miss Temple Square at Christmastime. I'm so glad it went well this year!
